File Preparation Guide

Make Sure Your Files are Prepared Correctly. Please use the following guidelines for your file type before uploading:


Vector File Preparation

  • Remove all sample text, lorem ipsum, or indications of text placement.
  • Theme Text such as "Merry Christmas" or tasteful typography may be used.
  • Do not embed bitmaps or photos.
  • Do not overuse gradients or effects (we do not accept lens flare, glow effects, drop shadow)
  • Do not use live objects. 
  • Expand all brush strokes, text, lines and patterned fills.
  • Close all open paths and remove any stray points.
  • Simple illustrations with gradient mesh should be exported to EPS 8.
  • Illustrations utilizing transparency should be exported to EPS 10.
  • Save your vector as a high-resolution JPEG file (Min. of 4 megapixels).
  • Name the JPEG the same as your EPS file. Example: dog.eps and dog.jpeg.
  • Vector size should not exceed 15 mb.
  • IPTC metadata must contain proper title, description and keywords in English.
  • Do not use special characters in your titles such as quotation marks or exclamation points.
  • Do not embed web urls.

Raster File Preparation

  • Remove all sample text, lorem ipsum, or indications of text placement.
  • Do not upsize images. Native camera resolution only.
  • Save your image as a high-resolution JPEG file (Min. of 4 megapixels).
  • Image size should not exceed 20 mb.
  • IPTC metadata must contain proper title, description and keywords in English.
  • Do not use special characters in your titles such as quotation marks or exclamation points.
  • Do not embed web urls.
